170 students have submitted names as

candidates for London Matriculation examination in Hong Kong with object of entering Hong Kong University. Please send full details of examination with overseas regulations by air mail at an early date. In view of suppression of English study by Japanese, trust due allowance will be made in marking papers by London Matriculation examiners, otherwise consult Cambridge School Certificate Syndicate. Recommend admission

to University without further examination of

23 students who passed special Macao Matriculation, 24 other students already possess Hong Kong Matriculation and are anxious commence study this October. Feeling here solidly in favour of start in October.
